Welcome to the first page of Chapter 2! Thank you all for coming to read again! I hope you all enjoy this chapter as much as or more than you enjoyed Chapter 1!
I played with a new font for dialogue in this chapter. It is called Chronicles of a Hero and can be found over at Blambot. Let me know how you like it! This is a flashback page, hence the black background and white frames. We’ll be back in the present day soon enough!
It’s back! And with a new font, too. It doesn’t look bad, but I’ll comment on it again after a few more pages. As usual, Qul’s expressions are hilarious, great job. And your idea to reverse the colours of the background and the frames to show it was a flashback was, in my opinion, a good one. My only nitpick with this page is that in the first three panels you can’t tell it’s raining. The first one looks foggy, and in the third one you get the idea of a mild drizzle.
Other than that, this page was an excellent start. Looking forward to the rest of the chapter!
I found a new font that I like better. It’s similar but it’s more readable and I think it just looks better overall.
I’ll consider darkening the rain effect. I’m hesitant, though, because I don’t want to obscure the image too much. I could probably have done some more rain effects on the surfaces in the 3rd panel, though. Show water running off the stone and so forth.

Well, my only gripe with the new font is that it’s hard to notice the apostrophe when Qul says “Nal’s wings!”
Hmmm, yeah, that would probably help. Though I just noticed that what I thought was the building’s texture was actually the rain effect. You could give the buildings some other kind of texture to bring out the rain.
