Here’s a big ol’ drawing of the Shattered Temple. Tried to make rain fallin’ down. Was surprised how much less time this took than th’ last page. I guess some things just go easier than others, huh?
You’ll be seein’ the inside of this soon enough. Will also get a little chant on the background of these Athar berks. Stay peery, cutters.
I thought you said stay Perry!
Lets see, I can totally see the main hall of this place having leopard print fuzzy wallpapers with wine red trim and a bright festive purple carpet. Maybe some zebra patterned chairs around to!
You know, that visual is stunning, why did I never become an interior designer? =x
I do think we need to renovate though, there must be so many leaks inside!
Very nice use of perspective! That and the rain make for a very stylish frame. My daily nitpick would be the rain lines. Some of them have a curve or hook at the end, or aren’t entirely straight. That can break the illusion of rain. Other than that, Qul’s face in the first frame looks weird, but that’s not immediately noticeable. All in all, good job!
The fact that Anti-gods people have their HQ in a broken temple is quite controversial… not to mention that the Lady does’t allow temples as far is i know(i could be wrong though)
The Lady allows temples in Sigil. There are a lot, all over the place.
This one was a problem, for reasons which I’m sure we’ll see in a comic or two.
they Probably tried to summon their god or something, since that would make sense if one pisses of the lady so much she wracks a big building in her own city.
@Kiwi: I will recommend this style to them!
@Paul: Thank you, glad you like it!
@WeertAngel: Prof. Vining has it right on both counts
I’ll be explaining the history of the Shattered Temple in the next page or two.
I’ll try to keep patient then, anyway, whats a good book to get background info on the Planescape setting?? anyone got an suggestions??
