Not sure what these bleeding lines showing up are. Anyone out there know more about Illustrator’n me? Never had this blek until CS5 and I’d love to know how t’ sodding fix it. Adobe berks.

Sorry for skipping today, cutters. It’s been hotter here than the sodding Fire and I got hit with heat exhaustion, sunburn, and hyperthermia over the weekend. I didn’t get a page done so I’m posting this filler sketch from the blood called Kiwi Valkyrie.  The regular comic will return on Thursday.

Also I am going to Otakon next week! The comic will be on break from July 29 through and will resume on Aug 9. I have some images and sketches and drawings I’ll post up while I’m gone. Some character designs and stuff like that. Hopefully that’ll keep all you bashers busy while I’m gone.

This page made me realize how much I hate drawing hands! On the other hand (har har), I really like how this came out overall for the action. I’m not well-practiced in drawing action scenes and the next few pages are going to challenge me considerably. But I will keep going and do my best! So if you like what I’m doing, please vote! The first ever Metamorphosis “Make a Character” contest is underway! The contest is for you to make a character that will appear as a major supporting character during an upcoming story arc. Here’s the chance to exercise your creativity. Come up with your favorite kinds of characters and get them a chance to meet Qul and company!

The winner’s character will be featured in a story arc down the road. Five more characters will receive brief appearances as extras in the comic. All of the chosen characters will get their very own sketches and drawings!

I tried making the last panel so that Ianthe had speed lines without looking like she had a beard. I’m still not convinced but I think it’s better than nothing.
